Business Networking is an activity that brings business leaders/entrepreneurs together for business relationship building. At a networking event you will meet a wide variety of business leaders from big box to sole entrepreneurs. The value comes when you meet these leaders and find out about their business and share your business. You never know the contact available through those you meet at a networking event. The Oregon City Chamber of Commerce strongly encourages all businesses, especially new to business or new to the area, to participate in as many networking opportunities as possible.
Good Morning Oregon City (GMOC):
Each Wednesday morning, 7:30-9:00am.
GMOC is the flagship of the Oregon City Chamber. With 80-85 regularly attending, this morning networking event is lively, fun and very popular. There's plenty of time to network with business leaders from the Oregon City and surrounding areas both before and after the morning program. Enjoy raffle drawings, self-introductions and the popular "$plit the Buck$". GMOC
is also a great opportunity to get to know the community and build those valuable business relationships.
Quarterly we mix up the event with business showcases (tradeshow layout)
to feature smaller and out of area businesses. We also offer the popular "Speed Networking" and educational "e"-GMOC sponsored by Buy Local Oregon City.
Chamber After Hours:
Second Thursday "after hours" 5:30-7:00 pm.
A relaxed networking event after work, Chamber After Hours makes for a pleasant end to your work day. This is the perfect opportunity to invite a guest or business client. A smaller group and informal atmosphere create an environment where you can have a relaxed conversation with someone and build those valuable business relationships. These events are also hosted by Chamber members at various locations. Adult beverages are generally offered.
